The Richmond-Tweed Regional Library Mobile Library stops at over 18 different locations around the region. To find out where and when it visits, you can either view the online timetable or download it from the links on the side of this page.

We offer a complete range of library services on the mobile for both children and adults, with a stock of over 8,000 items available for loan. Popular items such as adult fiction, large print, paperback, periodicals and audiovisual items are changed regularly. New items are received and put on the shelves each week.
 
Two public PC’s are available for internet access and word processing, documents may be printed out for a small fee. A photocopier is also available.

Please leave return items in the slot at the end of the desk as you enter. New selections and renewals will be checked out to you at the desk before you leave. You will be issued with a receipt listing the items you are taking and the date they are due back. In the case of fortnightly stops the next visit to the site is stamped in red at the top of the receipt.
 
There is a return chute available to the right of the door if the library is closed.
 
If you are unable to get to the bookmobile at the next visit items may be returned to any other branch library, updated on the RTRL website or by telephoning your nearest branch.
 
Reserves can be made at the on-line catalogue in the children’s area (a $2.00 fee is payable on collection).
 
You do need to produce your library card to borrow items or quote the card number over the telephone to renew them.

Please ask the staff if you have any queries or are unable to find items. There is a suggestion book for your use under the security monitor. Timetables giving locations and dates of visits are made up for six-month periods and may be taken from the plastic document holder on the desk.
 
This service is rarely cancelled, due to breakdowns, or road conditions, but if it is, notices will be put up at the site and loans updated until the next visit.
