Byron Writers Festival's StoryBoard workshops aim to inspire creativity, literacy and creative expression in young people to help support the next generation of readers and writers. The monthly creative writing workshops are run by authors and are suitable for students aged 10 years to late teens.  Refreshments provided. No bookings required.

Code Club

Learn how to program your own computer animations! Scratch is a programming language and an online community where children can to program and share interactive media animations. Skills learnt in coding include creative thinking, systematic reasoning and team work. Expand your knowledge, work with others, see what you can create. Suitable for ages 7-12 years only. Every Monday for one-month blocks. Children may need help from their parent/carer. An email address is required for this. Spaces are limited and bookings are essential.

The Stitches n Craft group meets every Tuesday from 9.30am to 12noon to knit, crochet, patchwork, felt - all crafts welcome.  Get together to work on individual or community projects, discuss ideas, ask, advise and meet new people - all over a cuppa.  All welcome.
