Richmond Tweed Regional Library also has a dedicated Family History and Research Centre located at 6 Centenary Drive in Goonellabah, where trained staff are on hand to support you with your search.
At the centre you can access the Northern Star newspaper on Microfilm from May 13 1876 onwards, and other local newspapers. You can use Ancestry.com, Archives Resource Kit, access cemetery records, the Births, Deaths and Marriages index, convict records, Immigration & Shipping index (Microfilm and books), Family Histories, The Genealogy Handbook, newsletters and magazines, landholders' records, electoral rolls, census records, register of the police, NSW Medical Register, roll of barristers and solicitors and the London census on CD-ROM.
